Suppose you are standing in your front yard and see a car crash into your neighbor’s car that is parked in front of his house. You walk over to your neighbor’s and he walks out to investigate the cause of the noise outside. The driver of the car gets out and as you begin to talk to your neighbor the driver screams at you to SHUT UP! Your neighbor begins to ask a question and again the driver screams SHUT UP! You and your neighbor look at one another and wonder what this crazy driver thinks he’s doing. You saw what happened, and judging from what he sees, your neighbor has a pretty good idea of what happened, too, yet the driver who is obviously angry wants no discussion or questions about it, in fact, now he accuses you of being the cause of the broken glass and wrinkled fender.
Does the driver believe that by stopping all discussion or questions, your neighbor and you will now think he is blameless for the wreck?
The election was wrecked on November 3rd of last year. Several big tech companies, most of the media, the democrats and many republicans in congress are all screaming SHUT UP! Do they believe they have convinced everyone, or anyone, that no wreck actually occurred? Do they think SHUT UP is the best answer to everyone concerned about what happened?
